c.EngageanddisengagethePTOswitch
tenconsecutivetimestoensuretheclutch
isfunctioningproperly.Iftheclutch
doesnotengageproperly,referencethe
Troubleshootingsection.
ReverseIndicator
Adjustment
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Unhookseatlatchandtiltseatforward.
3.Beginwitheithertheleftorrightmotioncontrol
lever.Movelevertotheneutralpositionandpull
leverbackuntiltheclevispin(onarmbelowpivot
shaft)contactstheendoftheslot(justbeginning
toputpressureonspring).(Figure27).
4.Checkwhereleverisrelativetonotchinconsole
(shouldbecenteredallowinglevertopivot
outwardtotheneutrallockposition).
5.Ifadjustmentisneeded,loosenthenutagainstthe
yokeandwhileapplyingslightrearwardpressure
onthemotioncontrollever,turntheheadofthe
adjustmentboltintheappropriatedirectionuntil
leveriscentered(keepingrearwardpressureon
theleverwillkeepthepinattheendoftheslot
andallowtheadjustmentbolttomovethelever
totheappropriateposition).Tightenlocknut.
