44 FläktGroup DC-2013-0101-GB • Subject to modifications • R5-08/2020
5.3.3 Placement without raised floor
The unit could be placed on a lift truck or two to six-wheeled platform and manoeuvred
to its installation site. Once in position, check and adjust levelling will need to be con-
ducted.
Care should be taken to prevent damage from contacting the unit by the lifting gear/
slings or fork lift truck etc.
Lift the unit from the pallet and take care to manoeuvre it.
The unit should be lifted from the base frame only with suitable measures to prevent
tipping or rolling.
W-Version:
Same methodology of the main unit placement must be done for the side section of
W-Version
The side section can be placed next to the main unit or in another place if needed,
but not to exceed the allowed separation as described in chapter 5.6.2
It is recommended to place the side section beside the main unit and attach them
together.
P-Version:
It is mandatory for P-Version to be used with a raised floor as it comes with a
mandatory base stand which must be placed underneath the main unit.
5.3.4 Placement on raised floor
Perform the levelling of the unit at the installation site.
Take good care when manoeuvring the unit during placement using wheeled
platform.
At the same time secure the unit against tipping.
Base stand of side section of W-Version must have the same height as the main unit
has, and the placement of this section must be done by the same methodology of the
main unit.
5.3.5 Connection of Side Section of W-Version
For the connection of the side section of W-Version (2) with the main unit (1), use the
provided kit with the unit as follows:
Seal the right side of the main unit by the provided sealing (3).
Unscrew the bolts of the side panels on both units and remove the panel of the side
section of W-Version.
Use one rod (4) at each corner as in the picture below.
Connect both frames by provided bolt M6 (5) and washers (6) as in the picture,
ensure the tightness of the side panel to the main unit by adding more washers to
prevent any air leakages.
NOTE!
We strongly recommend using a third party, specialist lifting company to offload and
position all Multi-DENCO equipment.
NOTE!
Three washers are recommended.
