3. Apply a resistance of 1.000 M
. A reading of 993.0 to 1007.0 should
appear on the display.
4. Remove the resistance from the inputs to the UUT. The display should
read 0.0 to 0.2.
5-18. Current Test
Use the following procedures to verify proper operation of the dc and ac
current functions:
1. Connect the UUT and the DMM Calibrator as shown in Figure 5-5.
2. For each step in Table 5-4, select the UUT function and range as
indicated. Program the DMM Calibrator for the specified input signal
and verify that the displayed UUT value is within the indicated limits.
