9.2 REGULATING THE FLOW OF LUBRICANT TO THE BLADES (Fig. 09-02)
There are two ways of regulating the flow of lubrication to the blades: by the electronic equipment (min. 1 spray
per sec., max. 3 sprays per sec.) or directly on the plant as described below:
To increase the quantity of blade lubricating oil, turn knob ‘1’ counter clockwise for the fixed head and knob
‘2’ for the mobile head.
Turn the knob clockwise to reduce the lubrication flow.
For installation, use and maintenance of the microdrop lubrication system, refer to the booklet “Microlubrication
and cooling of tools for metal cutting and forming” enclosed with this manual.
The technical specifications of the cooling oil are given inside the above mentioned booklet.
