Life-Sign
This bit sends back the Bit 0 of the Command
word. See Output Data, page 41.

Operational
All sensors and the measuring device are ready for
operation.

Initializing
The bit is set when the measuring device is
initialized. The measuring device is not ready for
operation during initialization.
The bit can also be set during operation if the
laser has to readjust its power. Operation is not
interrupted and Operational is still set.

Rebooting soon
The measuring device will reboot soon.

Self Diagnosis
The measuring device tries to fix an error
automatically. Error messages from the
measuring device are not meaningful in this state.

Reserved
Bit reserved for future assignment.

Firmware Error
At least one module has crashed.

Module Outage
Error
At least one module has is not working correctly.

Light Source
Error
A light source is not working.

Temperature
Error
At least one component outside of its permissible
operating temperature.
