0.1 Configuration methods

1 IP Configuration

1.1 IP Configuration without VLAN configurations

Set a static IP address for the switch via the IP configuration > IP Interfaces > IPv4 Interfaces menu.

1.2 IP Configuration with VLAN configurations

Add additional IP addresses for VLANs to configure the switch from different VLANs.

2 File Management

2.1 Download configuration from a TFTP Server

Retrieve switch configuration from a TFTP server using Administration > File Management > Save Configuration.

2.2 Backup configuration to a TFTP Server

Save switch configurations to a TFTP server via Administration > File Management > Save Configuration.

2.3 Save configuration

Save the running configuration to the startup configuration for persistence.

2.4 Reset configuration

Reboot the switch to factory defaults to delete all startup configuration.

2.5 Firmware update

Update the switch firmware using a TFTP server via Administration > File Management > Upgrade/Backup Firmware.

3 Virtual LAN Management

3.1 Create VLAN

Create new VLANs with specific IDs and names via Ports & VLAN > VLAN Settings > Create VLAN.

3.2 Access Port / Trunk Configuration

Define interfaces as Access Ports or Trunk Ports via Port & VLAN > VLAN Settings > Interface Settings.

3.3 Defining VLAN Membership

Define specific VLANs for access ports and allowed VLANs for trunks.

4 Multicast Configuration

4.1 Multicast Filtering

Enable bridge multicast filtering status and select forwarding methods (MAC or IP group addresses).

4.2 IGMP Snooping

Enable IGMP Snooping and configure parameters for specific VLANs.

4.3 Multicast Router Port Settings

Configure the Multicast Router Port settings statically if auto-detection is incorrect.

4.4 Unregistered Multicast Settings

Configure whether unregistered multicast traffic is forwarded or filtered on each port.

5 Simple Network Management Protocol

5.1 Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)

Configure SNMP communities and access rights for management stations.

5.2 Notification Recipient Configuration

Configure SNMP trap recipients, including IP address, UDP port, and community string.

9 Port Mirroring

Define the destination port and session ID for network traffic mirroring.

9.2 SPAN Session Sources Interface

Configure source ports and traffic types (Rx, Tx) to be mirrored to the destination session.
