Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) for Commercial
Installations, Upgrades, Startup, and/or Training of
FuelMaster
®
AIM2™
Customer:
Location:
This ATP is for AIM2™ installations, upgrades, startup, and/or training. It does not replace the acceptance test
required for the installation and startup of a FuelMaster
®
Fuel Management Unit (FMU).
This ATP is divided into sections to permit the completion of portions applicable to the task(s) being performed.
Read the section header to determine if the section must be completed. Mark non-applicable sections N/A.
Complete an ATP for each customer location. Invite a customer representative to observe these tests as he/she
must sign the final document. Comments may be added on page 6.
A space is provided to the left of each applicable procedure to show completion. Place a check mark (√) in the
space for each completed procedure. Leave incomplete procedures unmarked, and explain on page 6. Mark non-
applicable procedures N/A. Attach additional pages for additional comments.
SECTION I Complete when performing upgrades to existing FMUs and/or software.
PRE-UPGRADE
CAUTION
Do not proceed if any site equipment is not installed in accordance with NEC.
1. Verify the FMU(s), all connected hoses, and all other site equipment are operational and installed in
accordance with the NEC (note any exceptions on page 6).
2. Download transactions from all FMUs to be upgraded.
3. Retrieve and record unit configuration and option bytes of installed FMUs to be upgraded.
UPGRADE SOFTWARE
4. Verify tasking is an upgrade (not a new install).
5. Verify an operational copy of the FuelMaster
®
software is currently installed, and an install disk with
the same software version is available.
6. Disable any auto download settings and stop all services. Services may be restored after the software
upgrade, but verify services do not prevent proper Central Controller operation.
7. Make a copy of the customer’s existing software database and save to the desktop.
8. Upgrade the customer’s existing software through a local PC administrator log on.
