Set a Remote Access Code
Set a Remote Access Code to access and control your Fuji Xerox machine even when you are away from it.
1.
Press [Settings] > [All Settings] > [Fax] > [Remote Access].
2.
Enter a three-digit code using the numbers [0] to [9], [*] or [#] using the LCD (the preset '*' cannot be
changed), and then press [OK].
• DO NOT use the same code used for your Remote Activation Code (*51) (*91 for New Zealand) or
Remote Deactivation Code (#51) (#91 for New Zealand).
• To make your code inactive, press and hold to restore the inactive setting (---*), and then press
[OK].

• Remote Fax Retrieval
Before you can use the remote access and retrieval features, you must set up your own code. The factory
default code is the inactive code (---*).
