Overview
Fujitsu’s Radio Unit (RU) is compliant with the ORAN interface specications supporting the 7.2x split network
conguration. e RU supports Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) interface. e RU comes equipped with one
10G eCPRI optical interface port to communicate with the Distributed Unit (DU) for fronthaul network interfacing.
is compact, multi-band, multi-technology RU provide a standard open interface to other ORAN compliant
vendor CU/DU, EMS, EPC and OSS products. Furthermore, the RU also supports the specications set out in 3GPP
Release 15.
e following gure shows how the RU connects to the DU using the eCPRI optical port.
