Note: is list of tools and accessories is the minimum required to install the RU. Depending on the situation,
more may be required. Any additional tools required for each installation procedure need to be identied and
prepared before starting installation.
Caution: e RU is heavy. Fujitsu recommends installing the RU
with a two-person team to avoid damage to the unit or injury to the
user.

Attach L-Brackets and Eye Bolts
is procedure describes how to aach the L-brackets and eye bolts to the RU.
Recommended Tools:
■ 13 mm socket
■ 5/8 in. wrench
■ Power tools (optional)
■ Metric and SAE toolkit
Note: If the RU is to be installed at a high location, Fujitsu recommends using liing equipment to hoist the RU
by a pair of eye bolts mounted on the RU.
Step 1
With the RU on its side and using the Radio Bracket Kit (PCD4B780-0007-C001), install the L-brackets to each side
of the RU, securing them using the M8 screws, at and split washers.
Note: Ensure proper L-bracket positioning on the RU. Refer to
Figure 13 for an example.
Step 2
Torque each M8 bolt to 9.28 Nm to secure the L-brackets to the RU.
Step 3
Screw in two M8 eye bolts (PCD4B780-0008-C001) with at and split washers in the two holes on top of the RU
and torque them to 13.4 Nm.
