Switching on the notebook
► Open the LCD scre en.

► Press the ON/OFF switch for about one
second to switch the notebook on.

The power-on indicator is lit.

Back up your data and close all applications before you sw itch off y our
device. Otherwise data might be lost.
► Shut down the ope
rating system properly
(e.g. from the Wi
ndows Start menu by
clicking on Sta
rt-ShutDown-OK).

► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the ON/O FF switch
for approx. five seconds.
► Close the LCD
screen.
