The design of your n otebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The
following mo dules can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:
• Seco nd battery
• Second hard disk drive
• Optical drive
• Empty plug-in unit (save weight)
Only use modules designed for your noteb ook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the module.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the module bay.
You can swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to sw itch off the notebook.
To replace a module, simply click o n the corresponding icon in the
task bar and then on Exit or Select - Exit.
The module c an now be removed without any further actions being necessary.

► Slide the release mechanism (1) in the direction of the arrow and hold.
► Now pull the module (2) out of the module bay.
