System expansions
Do not th row away the slot cover. For c ooling, protection against fire and in order to
comply with EMC regulations, you must refit the slot cover if you remove the board .

► Push the board into the slot (1).
► Swivel the reta ining clamp back again until you feel it click into place (2).
► Connect the cables to the board.
► For display adapters with an additional power conn ection (< 65 W): attach the
display ada pter power cable to the power supply.
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the casing" , Page 35).
If you have installed or removed a bo ard, please check the relevant slot
settings in the BIOS Setup. If necessary, change the settings. Further
information is provided in the boa rd documentation.
