Installing and removing a board
You can install additional modules in order to increase the performance of your machine.
The number, position and arrangement of th e board slots on the mainboard can be found in
the manua l for the mainboard. Boards may already be installed on shipment.
The following ch apter illustrates the standard version and not the pow er version. However,
the procedure in the following chapters is the same for both versions.

If possible, always install display adapters in the second slot from the right.

► Push the retaining clip (1) towards the slot cover to unlock it, then move
it towards the back panel of the device.
► Pull the slot cover out of the slot i n the direction of the arrow (2).
