Operating BIOS Setup Utility
BIOSSetupUtility
Press the
F1
key to display help on the operation of the BIOS Setup Utility. The description
of the individual settings is shown in th e right-hand window of the BI OS Setup Utility.
With the
F3
key y ou can load the default settings of the BIOS Setup Utility.
► Use the cursor keys
←
or
→
to select the menu you wish to access to make cha nges.
The menu is displayed on the screen .
► Select the option you want to change with the cursor keys
↑
or
↓
.
► Press the Enter key.
► Press the
ESC
key to exit the selected menu.
► For future reference, make a note of the changes you have made (for example, in this manual).
Exiting BIOS Setup Utility
BIOSSetupUtility
You need to select the desired option in the Save & Exit menu and activate it by p ressing the Enter key:
Save Changes and Exit - S ave the changes and exit the B IOS Setup Utility
► To save the current menu settings and exit the BIOS Setup Utility, select
Save Changes and Exit and Yes.
The de vice is rebooted and the new settings come into effect.
Discard Changes and Exit - Discard changes and exit the BIOS Setup Utility
► Select Discard Changes and Exit and Yes to discard the ch anges you have made.
The settings which applied when BIOS Setup Utility was called up remain effective.
The BIOS Se tu p Utility is terminated and the device is rebo oted.
