Troubleshooting and tips
Refer to the sa fety notes in the "Safety/regulations" manual and in the "Getting
started", Pa ge 14 chapter when connecting or disconnecting cables.
If a fault occurs , try to c
orrect it as described in the following documentation:
• in this chapter
• in the documentation for the conn ecte d devices
• in the help systems of th
e software used
• in the documentation for your operating system
Help if problems occur
Should y ou encount
er a problem with your computer that you cannot resolve yourself:
► Note the ID number
of your device. T he Ident-No. can be found on the
type rating plate
on the back of the device.
► Contact the Service Desk resp onsible for your cou ntry for clarification of the problem:
"
http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/contact/se rvicedesk". When you do this, please have
ready the ID number an d serial numbe r of your system.
Troubleshooting
Power indicator remains off after you have switched
on your device
Cause
Remedy
The mains voltage supply is faulty. ► Check that the power cable is correctly
plugged into the device and into a groun ded
mains outlet.
► Check that the main switch at the rear of the
device is set to the "I " position.
► Switch the device on.
Internal power supply overloaded.
► Pull the power plug of the device out of the
mains outlet.
► Wait fo
r about 3 minutes.
► Plug the power plug into a properly grou nded
mains outlet again.
► Swit
ch the device on.
