Using the FUNCTION Button
This section explains how to use the FUNCTION button of the ETERNUS AF
.
The following settings can be performed by using the FUNCTION button:
•
Switching the Master CM to the other controller
For the two controllers in the ETERNUS AF, the controller through which the ETERNUS AF is set up and oper-
ated is called the "Master CM", while the other controller is called the "Slave CM".
•
Restoring the factory default settings (network environment settings and firewall settings) of the LAN ports
•
Restoring the factory default user settings (user account, role, and RADIUS settings)
When the user information initialization function on the operation panel is disabled with ETERNUS CLI, the
user settings do not revert to the default values even if the
FUNCTION button is operated.
The following procedure explains how to use the FUNCTION button.
