Removing the SmartCard reader

► Open the casing (see "Opening the ca sing", Page 31).
► If a PCIe board or p ower supply is installed, rem ove the cross piece and PCIe board or power
supply (see "
Removing the board", Page 47/"Remove power supply", Page 50).

► Disconnect the cable from the SmartC ard reader (1) and from th e mainboard (2).
► Undo the screw s (3).
► Lift the SmartCard reader from the carrier (4).
► When required, reinstall the cross piece and PCIe board or power supply (see
"
Installing the board", Page 45/"I nstall power supply", Page 49).
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the ca sing", Page 52).
Ensure that cables are not trapped between the casing and the components.
