Conversion to hot-plug PS and redundant system fans
Ê Install the redundant system fan 1&3 and connect both fan cables to the
system board as described in the section "Installing system fan 1 (or 1&3)"
on page 107.
I The redundant system fan 1&3 (dual fan, two fans are integrated
internally) is taller and has two fan cables.
Ê Install the redundant system fan 2&4 and connect both fan cables to the
system board as described in the section "Installing system fan 2 (or 2&4)"
on page 108.
I The redundant system fan 2&4 (dual fan, two fans are integrated
internally) has two fan cables.
V CAUTION!
For safety reasons (danger of tipping) an anti-tilt bracket must be
mounted on the rear side of floorstand models with hot-plug power
supply.
Ê Place the server on the anti-tilt bracket.
Ê Fasten the anti-tilt bracket using the two knurled screws (see
figure 83 on page 101).
Ê Close the server, connect it to the power outlet, and switch it on as described
in the chapter "Completion" on page 107.
