10 Conversion to hot-plug PS and
redundant system fans
V CAUTION!
Follow the safety instructions in the chapter "Safety instructions" on
page 19.
Ê Open the server as described in the chapter "Preparation" on page 27.
V CAUTION!
System fans 1 and 2 are replaced by the redundant system fans 1&3 and
2&4.
Ê Remove system fan 2 as described in the section "Removing system fan 2
(or 2&4)" on page 34.
Ê Remove system fan 1 as described in the section "Removing system fan 1
(or 1&3)" on page 35.
Ê Disconnect all power cables from the system board and the drives (see the
cabling plans in the Appendix).
Ê Remove all power cables from the cable clamps.
