1. Select [Start], right-click [Computer], and then select [Properties].
2. In the "System Properties" dialog box,
select the [Advanced system settings]
on the pain left.
3. In the "User Account Control" dialog
box, click the [Continue] button.
4. In the "System Properties" dialog box,
select the [Advanced] tab, and then click
the [Settings] button under "Perfor-
mance."
5. In the "Performance Options" dialog
box, select the [Advanced] tab, and then
click the [Change] button under "Virtual
memory."
6. If the "Automatically manage paging file
size for all drives" check box is marked, uncheck the mark.
7. In the "Virtual memory" dialog box, select "Custom size" under "Paging
file size for each drive."
8. In the "Maximum size (MB)" field, type in a rather large number
.
9. Click the [Set] button.
10. Click the [Ok] button and close all dialog boxes.
• If the state is not improved through the above measures, add more memory
on your computer.
