5. Pull out the extension.
6. Load the documents in the ADF paper chute (cover).
Load the documents face-down and top-first with their back facing you. Use the reference
marks within the side guides to adjust the number of the documents to be loaded.
7. Adjust the side guides to the width of the documents.
Hold each side guide in the middle to adjust them. Otherwise, the documents may be fed
skewed.
