This section describes the various labels on ÄKTA ready XL and their meaning.
System nameplate
The system nameplate is located on the electrical cabinet.
The texts and symbols that can be found on the system nameplate are explained in
the table below.
Label text Description
Serial no. The system identifying number for the unique in-

tallation.
Type Product type.
Year of manufacture The manufacturing year.
Power supply The voltage alternatives.
Frequency The supply voltage frequency.
Factory ID Identification code of the manufacturing facility.
Short circuit current rat-
ing
The maximum current the system can withstand.
Total FLA The full load ampere.
Largest motor FLA The largest motor installed on the system.
Protection class The electrical appliances protection classification
according to international standard IEC 60529.
Ambient temperature The allowed ambient temperature interval.
Operating temperature
range
The allowed operating temperature interval.
Max operating pressure The maximum allowed operating pressure.
Pneumatic supply min-
max
The required pressure for pressurized air supply.
