3.4.4 Valves

ntroduction
This section describes the valves and provides valve macros for the air trap, filter and
column.
Refer to the Software Design Specification for more information on valve macros.
Description
There are 28 pinch valves in total, of which 27 are large pinch valves and one is a small
pinch valve.
The valves have manually operated safety locks preventing the valves from acciden-
tally closing during flow kit installation. The large valves are also equipped with two
types of valve safety covers.
Note: To open or close safety locks, the installation switch must be set to F
low
kit install.

Turn the lock to open the safety lock on the small pinch valve.
