3 Press “C-arm up” and “C-arm down” -buttons on the Driver Board
momentarily and see that the drive directions are correct. Drive the
C-arm down carefully. Make sure that the metal plate enters the
photo interrupter slot and that the movement stops.
WARNING!
The ECS mechanism and the motor will be damaged if the C-arm is driven
against a mechanical limit. The movement should be stopped by the
photo interrupter.
4 Drive the C-arm to its upper limit. Check that there is enough slack in
the cables. Make sure that the metal plate enters the photo
interrupter slot and that the movement is stopped.
5 Press “Return” -button and check that the adapter returns to lowest
position from all other positions. The movement can be stopped by
pressing the “C-arm up” or “C-arm down” buttons.
6 When driven away from the lowest position, check that the c-arm
brake does not release. After returning the c-arm, check that the
brake releases again.
7 Check that the foot pedal works:
8 Proceed the installation according to the Installation Instructions and
return to the ECS installation after the Alpha RT installation is
finished.
9 Install a compression paddle and place something soft on the
cassette holder. Compress in the “ECS”-mode until the compression
current limit is reached. See that the c-arm movement stops as well.
10 Make an exposure and see that the c-arm is returned to the lowest
position after the exposure if the Autorel function is selected on the
Alpha RT control panel.
