Baby Mode
The “Baby Cold- Check Temp Probe”
alarm activates when the baby’s skin
temperature is greater than 1.0°C below
the Set Temperature. Silencing the alarm
suspends the low priority audio alarm
for twelve (12) minutes. When the baby’s
temperature is greater than 2.0°C below
the Set Temperature a high priority alarm
activates. Silencing the alarm suspends the
high priority audio alarm for ve (5) minutes.
The low priority alarm setting can be
narrowed to 0.5°C using the “Setup” screen
and “Pt Temp Alarm” keys.
Manual mode
The alarm can be activated in the Manual
Mode using the “Setup” and “Man Temp
Alarm” keys. (Refer to chapter 3).
Action: monitor the baby carefully and check
the attachment of the probe on the baby’s
skin.

The low priority “Check Baby” alarm
activates, and an intermittent tone sounds,
after the radiant heater has been running at
100% power for more than twelve minutes.
Manual mode
The low priority “Check Baby” alarm
activates, and an intermittent tone sounds,
after the warmer has been operating at
greater than 25% heater power* for more
than twelve minutes.
Action: check the attachment of the skin
probe to the baby and monitor the baby’s
temperature closely.
*Default power setting is 25%, but this can be adjusted
on the Service Screen. See service manual.
