2.2.3 Problem With Worklist From RIS/HIS
Problem 1: Some of the worklist entries cannot be received from RIS/HIS system.

Solution: Worklist entries could be rejected if following restrictions are NOT followed in DICOM
data received from HIS/RIS system.

2.) Length:64 chars maximum by each component.

PatientID 0010 0020 LO 1.) Must be present and value could not be empty.
2.) Length:64 chars maximum.
3.) BACKSLASH "\" is not allowed.
4.) Shall not have Control Characters except for ESC.
5.) Leading/Tailing Space maybe padded.
StudyInstanceUID 0020 000d UI 1.) Must be present and value could not be empty.
2.) Length:64 bytes maximum.
3.) If a Value Field containing one or more UIDs is an odd
number of bytes in length, the Value Field shall be
padded with a single trailing NULL (00H) character to
ensure that the Value Field is an even number of bytes
in length.
4.) "0"-"9", "." of Default Character Repertoire.
