6.) Remove the screws which secure the main board assembly with the front cover.
7.) Take out the main board assembly from the front cover.
8.) Place the new main board assembly into the front cover.
9.) Secure the main board assembly and front cover with screws.
10.) Mount the back cover with screws.
11.) Follow the steps Portable workstation RAM replacement procedure on page 240 to mount the
RAM.
12.) Follow the steps Portable workstation SSD drive replacement procedure on page 238 to mount
the SSD drive.
13.) Follow the steps Portable workstation battery replacement procedure on page 236 to mount
the battery.
Portable workstation housing replacement procedure
The portable workstation housing includes the front and back covers. Follow the steps Portable
workstation main board assembly replacement procedure on page 242 to replace the
workstation housing except that there is no need to demount RAM/SSD drive during the
housing replacement procedure.
Dock With System Labels Assembly Replacement Procedure
Copy the label information at back of old dock to the new one. Compare the regulation labels
between the old one and the new one, if any missing labels (e.g. CE label) in new one, move
that label from the old one to the new one.
