13.4 - FUNCTIONS/PADS
The general variables are used to exchange data between the various components of a Bus system.
They are similar to the variables of a PLC. The basic structure of the system is illustrated below. Pads
can be used, for example, to send information from a eldbus to an optional card. All Pads can be read
and written.
