GPS(GlobalPositioningSystem):GPSisasystemdevelopedand
operatedbytheUnitedStateswhichdeterminestheuser'scurrent
location(longitude/latitudeinformation)byusingthreeormore
satellites.ThissystemisusedwithrelatedGPSinformation,various
sensors,roadmapdata,andotherinformationtoprovidenavigation
guidance.
About the Map
Someroads,sitenames,andfacilityinformationmayhave
changedaftermapdataupdatesandcoulddifferfromactual
roadconditions.
Information

Forcontinuedmapupdates,informationgatheringandsurveysareconducted
continuouslytomonitorroadchangesornewroadconstructions.Nonetheless,
roads,facilitiesandfaresareunderconstantchangeanditisnotpossibleto
completelyremoveallerrors,includingroadupdates,names,facilitiesand
fares.PleasekeepthisinmindwhenusingtheNavigation.

Inprinciple,roadswithwidthslessthan3marenotincludedwithin
themapdata.Roadswithsectionswithwidthslessthan3mmaybe
deletedinfuturemapdataupdates.
When GPS Info Cannot be Used
GPSmaynotoperateunderthefollowingconditions.
•
Whenpassingbuildings,tunnels,orotherobstructionsthat
blocksatellitesignals.
•
WhenmaterialsareplacedabovetheGPSantennaandblock
satellitesignals.
•
Whensatellitesarenottransmittingradiowaves.(Radio
wavesmaynottransmitwhenundergoingmodificationsor
repairs.)
