The SI system may require occasional maintenance. If the Igniting Control system fails to
ignite the burner, it must be checked and serviced as necessary. Use the procedures below
to maintain the SI system.

Remove the orange wire connector from the pressure
switch, and make sure it
does not contact other
surfaces to prevent high-voltage shock

maintenance.
NOTE:
The Spark Ignition System is configured differently for 5220 models equipped
with Remote Start systems. If troubleshooting a Remote Start 5220, consult
your Remote Start Operating Manual for wiring diagrams and additional info.
