8. DISASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTING THE MECHANICAL PARTS
8.10 Top Cover Sensor
Detaching the left side top cover sensor
(1) Detach the right and left side covers (see Sections 8.1 and 8.2).
(2) Detach the front guide assembly (see Section 8.4).
(3) Remove the two M3L6 binding head screws holding the left side top cover sensor bracket.
(4) Disconnect the left side top cover sensor cable from the connector then detach the left side top cover
sensor together with the bracket.
(5) Remove the M4L6 binding head screw holding the left side top cover sensor.

Detaching the right side top cover sensor
(1) Detach the right and left side covers (see Sections 8.1 and 8.2).
(2) Detach the front guide assembly (see Section 8.4).
(3) Disconnect the right side top cover sensor cable from the connector.
(4) Remove the M3L6 binding head screw holding the right side top cover sensor bracket.
(5) Detach the right side top cover sensor together with the bracket.
(6) Remove the M4L10 binding head screw holding the right side top cover sensor.
Reattaching the top cover sensors
(1) Reattach the top cover sensors by reversing the sequence of steps in which they were detached.
