6.1.5 Calibration
• Zero calibration: While there is no obstruction to the light beam, press and hold ZERO
until all blue signal LEDs illuminate.
• Automatic Span calibration: After Zero calibration, the auto Span calibration will
automatically be performed if the beam is blocked within 1 minute after Zero calibrat-
ing. The transceiver interface of an auto Span calibration shows on Figure 6-6.

• Span calibration: You can carry out a manual Span calibration without Zero calibra-
tion.
• While the beam is blocked, press, and hold SPAN until all blue signal LEDs illuminate.

6.2 Control and Monitoring Unit
The control and monitoring unit uses an HMI for the configuration, monitoring and visu-
alization. The description of the menus and system configuration can be found in this sec-
tion.
