What causes auger motors to run but gear motor to not run in GSi Industrial Equipment?

If the auger motors run but the gear motor does not in your GSi Industrial Equipment, first check if the gear motor fuse is blown and replace it if necessary. Ensure there isn't low voltage or incorrect wiring for 115 volts by checking the trolley junction box for proper wiring. The gear motor itself may be burned out and require replacement, or the gear motor case transmission might have a problem needing repair or replacement. Also, check if the drive chain is off the sprocket. Note that if the augers trailed back and the mercury switch shut the gear motor off, this is normal. Ensure the tilt switch is properly adjusted and that the gear motor and tilt switch are correctly wired at the trolley junction box.
