FAULT CONDITIONS
30
minutes, the X/L output is energized. If the frequency returns to the normal range at the end of Anti-Short Cycle, the Controller
returns to normal operation. If the frequency is valid for 1 minute, this fault condition clears. The fault code is displayed on the
display along with the Anti-Short Cycle code. In Cool Mode, if this fault is detected, the RV output is shut down as well. This fault
condition is detected in any Mode.
Fuse Blown Fault:
While the frequency measurement is within the normal range, if the 24VAC voltage is less than 1.9V R.M.S. continuously for 1
second, this fault is issued and all the 24VAC outputs are shut down. With this fault condition, the Controller goes into Auto-
Restart. There is no Emergency Heat Mode allowed with this fault. When this fault is detected, the High or Low Pressure Fault,
Primary Compressor No Current Present Fault, and the Under Voltage Fault are ignored. When this fault is present, 24VAC outputs
do not work. There is no X/L output with this fault. This fault condition is detected in any Mode.
GROUPINGS OF FAULTS
The following is a summary of the faults with respect to the type of operational status they cause:
Volatile Lockout:
A High Pressure condition in Dual Fuel mode will put system into Lockout.
Anti-Short Cycle:
Abnormal Frequency Fault
Over Voltage or Under Voltage Fault
Auto-Restart:
Internal Board Fault
24VAC Short Circuit Fault
High or Low Pressure Fault
Line Temperature Fault
Line Temperature Sensor Fault
Coil Temperature Sensor Fault
Ambient Temperature Sensor Fault
Fuse Blown Fault
FAULT HISTORY
The FAULT HISTORY button allows access to old fault codes on the 2-digit display starting with the latest. Pressing this button for 1
second displays the latest fault code. The code stays on the display for 5 seconds before going back to normal status code. During
the 5 seconds period, if the button is pressed again, the next latest fault code is displayed. This process can be repeated the same
