*Calculated with a 2.5kW resistance heat package.
** Calculated with a 4.8kW resistance heat package
All temperatures show in degrees Fahrenheit
1. Heating MBH values are based on ARI standard conditions of 70 ºF DB inlet air and a 25 foot line set.
2. Heating capacities and efficiencies include the effects of defrosts in the outdoor ambient temperature
conditions when they occur.
3. COP is equal to the total BTU/hr output divided by the total BTU input (BTU input = system input kW X
3.412).
4. All tests have been performed by Hallowell International following ARI Standards 210 / 240-2006 and
ASHRAE Standard ANSI / ASHRAE 37-2005. Testing was not performed at the request of the American
Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute (AHRI). Testing was not part of the ARI
certification program. All testing was performed by Hallowell International or ETL Semko at the request
of Hallowell International.
5. Cooling BTU / hr based on 80 ºF inlet air temperature and rated air flow.
6. SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is equal the total cooling BTU's during a typical year divided by
the total electric power input in watt-hrs during the same period. Normal annual usage is a
combination of both 1st and 2nd stage operation.
7. EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) is equal to the total cooling output in BTU's at an outdoor ambient
temperature of 95 ºF divided by the total electric power in watt-hrs at those conditions
-hours consumed for an entire heating
season. Values calculated per ARI Standard 210/240-2006 section 4.2.
