Factory Supplied Air Handler TXV Kit Installation Instructions:
1. Ensure the coil has not been exposed to atmospheric pressure for more than 15 minutes.
2. Remove indoor air handler coil inlet cover at the distributor body inlet. Use a back-up wrench to prevent damage to the copper
lines connected to already and being connected to the TXV.
3. Install the TXV on the distributor using a back-up wrench to prevent damage to the copper lines connected to already and being
connected to the TXV. Tighten finger tight, then ¼ turn more.
4. Connect equalizer fitting on the vapor line. Be sure to remove the Schrader Valve Core
located in the fitting on the coil.
5. Install the indoor air handler coil tube. Use back-up wrench to prevent damage to the copper lines connected to
already and being connected to the TXV.
6. Attach the TXV bulb to the horizontal section of the suction line using the bulb strap and insulation that is in the kit package. As
