Chapter 2: Operation via Front Panel Controls
Using Multi-Function Buttons
Many of the buttons on the control panels have multiple functions
assigned to them. Function names are color-coded and written in red,
black, and blue text on the button face to aid in proper selection. To
select different tasks from a multi-function button, perform one of the
following steps:
• Press the desired multi-function button. The assigned default
function is written in black text on the button face, either near the
top or in the middle of the button.
• Press Shift and the desired multi-function button simultaneously.
The assigned function is written in red text on the button face near
the top of the button.
• Press Ctrl and the desired multi-function button simultaneously.
The assigned function is written in blue text on the button face near
the bottom of the button.
