1.2 Introduction
The MP55 module from the PME product line is a carrier-frequency amplifier,
and is ideal for connecting the widest possible technological varieties of force,
pressure, torque and displacement transducers as well as load cells. The
MP55 module is set up, and its parameters are assigned, using either the key-
board and display or the PME Assistent. The PME Assistent provides an easy
operator interface under MS-Windows and this is used for assigning parame-
ters to modules (as described in the ”PME Assistant” online help).
