3. Turn the ignition switch (3) to "ON".
1. Pull the choke knob (4) out all the way
to fully “ON” position (A).

3. Continue warming up the engine until
it runs smoothly and responds to
the throttle, when the choke knob is
at “OFF” position (B).
Use kick starter:
With the throttle closed, press the
starter switch.
2. Use starter switch:
With the throttle closed, operate the
kick starter with a rapid and continuous
motion.

3. Start the engine.
1. Do not use the choke.
During this period, avoid full-throttle
starts and rapid acceleration.
RUNNING-IN
2. Rotate the throttle 1/8-1/4 turn.
