The bulb becomes very hot while the lamp
is “ON”, and remains hot for a while after
it is turned “OFF”. Be sure to let it cool
down before servicing.
Be sure to turn the ignition switch
“OFF” when replacing the bulb.
BULB REPLACEMENT
Do not use bulbs other than that
specified.
Wear clean gloves while replacing the
bulb. If you touch the bulb with your bare
hands, clean it with a cloth moistened with
alcohol to prevent its early failure.
Refer to the Safety Precautions (page 47).
Do not put finger prints on the headlamp
bulb, as they may create hot spots on the
bulb and cause it to break.
After installing a new bulb, check
that the lamp operates properly.
7. Install a new bulb in the reverse order of
removal.

6. Remove the position lamp bulb (5)
from both sides of the headlamp case.

1. Remove the headlamp case (page 33 & 34).
2. Disconnect the headlamp connector (1).

4. Loosen the screw and release the clip
