7.4.7 Power Considerations
If a transponder is presented to the 4090A10 HF antenna, the impedance of the
antenna is bound to change. The magnitude of the impedance change depends on
various factors like
Geometrical relationship between the antennas (coupling)
Impedance/power consumption of transponder

This leads to a change in power consumption of the reader. The following table
provides an overview on power consumptions recorded with different transponders.
