Why is my High End Systems Studio Command fixture not powering on?
    • M
      Marc EstesAug 8, 2025
Your High End Systems Flood Light fixture might not be powering on due to several reasons. First, ensure that the fixture is properly connected to a power source. If it's connected, check the power supply fuses. If the fuse is bad it should be replaced.

What to do if my High End Systems Flood Light lamp shuts off during operation?
    • R
      Randall GillAug 12, 2025
If the lamp shuts off during operation, it could be due to a bad lamp, in which case you should replace it. Alternatively, the fixture may have exceeded its maximum temperature; allow 5 to 10 minutes for it to cool, then try turning the lamp on again.

Why is my High End Systems Flood Light lighting controller not recognizing a fixture at the assigned address?
    • D
      dukeshaneAug 16, 2025
The lighting controller might not recognize a fixture because the lighting desk was configured with a fixture at that address, but no fixtures were found there. If there is a fixture at that address, verify the fixture number or DMX start channel. Check connections and ensure the fixture is turned on. Another potential cause is that controllers, serial data distributors, data line optoisolators, or fixtures using RS-422 communication are connected before the Studio Command fixtures on the link; remove or bypass these devices or move them after the Studio Command fixtures.

Why are not all High End Systems Studio Command Flood Light fixtures on the link receiving the upload?
    • D
      Denise BensonAug 20, 2025
If not all fixtures on the link are receiving the upload, the fixtures might be off, so power them on. Also, there might be bad cables, so test and replace cables as necessary. Another reason might be that the cables are disconnected, so reconnect them. It might also be that controllers, serial data distributors, data line Optoisolators, or fixtures using RS-422 communication are connected before Studio Command fixtures on the link, so remove or bypass any incompatible devices from the data link or move them to a link position after the Studio Command fixtures.

Why is my High End Systems Flood Light lamp dimmer than other fixtures?
    • L
      lori30Aug 26, 2025
If the lamp is dimmer than other fixtures, it might be old or bad, so replace it with the specified type. It could also be that the lamp is not optimized, so optimize the lamp.

Why is my High End Systems Studio Command fixture functioning, but the lamp won't strike?
    • S
      Susan JohnsonSep 2, 2025
If the fixture functions but the lamp does not strike, the lamp might be bad, so replace it. If you have the 700 model, the lamp may be currently too hot to strike; provide the correct power source voltage, power cord cap, and input voltage setting, allow the lamp to cool, then restrike the lamp.
