Chapter 2: Troubleshooting Procedures
b. Press the Power switch on the pedestal stand.
c. Press the Power switch on the incubator. When initially turned on, the
unit performs a self-test indicated by the flashing hourglass.
All indicator lamps light, and the audible alarm is pulsed.

y — If the unit fails the self-test, the alarm sounds, and one or more
of the following messages appear in place of the Trend display
on Display #1: Controller Fail, EEPROM Fail, or Sensor
Module Failure. Refer the unit to service.
3. Check the Power Failure alarm by unplugging the pedestal stand power
cord from its power source. The Power Failure alarm sounds, and the
Power Fail indicator on the controller lights.

y — There is no power, and the Power Failure alarm is not activated.
The Power switch is not on. Press the Power switch.
4. Perform the following:
a. Connect the power cord. Make sure the power cord is fully plugged
into the wall stand and incubator receptacles.
b. After the self-test, Display #1 appears. Set the air set temperature to
95°F (35°C). Allow the unit to operate while checking the hood/shell.
5. Check the variable height adjustable pedestal/stand if so equipped.
Turn on the main power switch.
b. Use your foot to press the Up arrow of the variable height adjustable
pedestal stand, front, up/down switch (X) to raise the stand to the
maximum height (see figure 2-1 on page 2-6).
