NOTE
4.3 Communication (Option)
This instrument is equipped with an RS-232C
interface-based data transmission function. If this
instrument is connected to a personal computer,
measurement data can be transferred from this
instrument to the computer where it can be recorded
and saved.
In order to use this function, one of the following
options is required. Purchase the option that is
appropriate for your computer.
When connecting to a serial port (D-sub 9-pin
connector) on the computer side 3856-01
COMMUNICATION PACKAGE (RS-232C)
When connecting to a USB port on the computer side
3856-02 COMMUNICATION PACKAGE (USB)

(1) Install the software in the personal computer.

(2) Installing the USB Driver (when using the 3856-02)
Installs the USB Driver when the 3856-02
Communications Package is used.

(3) Connect the optical connector of the
communications cable to the connector on the
holster for the 3803.
