5. Place the top part of the CPUinsertion tool on the CPU so that the green
triangle on the knob and the white triangle on the top of the top part of
the tool point to the black triangle in the front left corner of the socket
frame.
6. Press and release the knob on the top part of the CPUinsertion tool to
cause the clamp to grip the sides of the CPU. When this is done
correctly, you should hear a click.
7. While holding the tool by the knob, lift the CPU out of the socket.
8. If the CPUstill has thermal paste on the top, clean the paste off the CPU.
To do this:
a. Place the top part of the CPUinsertion tool on the bottom part of the
tool so that:
