FireWarden Panels Connecting to the Panels
C.6.5 To Use Panel’s Printer Port Connection
Some FireWarden panels support data transfer through their printer terminal.
1. On the CLSS Gateway mainboard Side
• Connect the serial cable into the RS-232 port of the CLSS Gateway mainboard.
The RS-232 port is labeled as 6 in the Figure C.15.
2. On the Panel Side
Connect the serial cable in the DB9 serial port of the ANN-S/PG module on the panel.
3. Power Connection
On the CLSS Gateway mainboard Side
• Connect to the 24V DC external power supply.
• Switch the S7 Switch next to the RS-232 port towards NUP_OUT.

On the Panel Side
Connect the power cable to a 24V DC external power source or the panel’s power
supply.
NOTE: Compatible CGW-MB firmware versions: 2.1.11.16 and above
CAUTION: ENSURE THAT ONLY THE ANN-S/PG IS CONNECTED AND NOT THE CGW-MB. ONLY ONE OF
THESE TWO CAN BE CONNECTED. BOTH OF THEM MUST NOT BE CONNECTED TOGETHER.
