3.2.9. Communications
SMV800 modbus transmitter can be configured with a turnaround delay time
(holding register 106), which defines how long the transmitter will wait to respond
after receiving a query from the host. If the Turnaround Delay Time is set to one,
the device will respond as fast as it can. The default Turnaround Delay is 50
miliseconds.
The registers shown in Table 3-6 provide statistics that may be used to gather
diagonostics information about the communication between the device and the
host. The communication statistics will reset when SMV800 Modbus device loses
power or if a Master Reset performed. The registers will be reset to zero when the
value in the registers exceeds maximum value of an unsigned 16-bit number.
