1. Check the Active Events screen for any
reported failure of the ring communication. In
this case, refer to Error 37 – Ring
communication failed.
2. Check that the I/O Module is properly seated
on the DIN rail.
3. If the error persists, remove the module and
check for any damage to the connector on the
DIN rail.
4. In this case, it may be possible to move the
module to another slot.
5. If the connector is damaged, contact your
local representative to obtain a replacement
DIN rail PCB assembly.
6. If no damage is apparent to the connector
and the module fails to operate in another slot,
then the module may be faulty. Follow the
procedure in Maintenance, Replace an I/O
