This chapter contains instructions for other features of the HP Fax that you may want to
use from time to time°
The "arrow buttons" located under the
Menu burton on the control panel are
designated by 4 1,in the instructions_
Set the date and time
The current date and time are shown in the display when the machine is on and ready
for use (Ready made), The date and time wil! be printed on all faxes you send
1. PressMenu°
2, Press 4 F to choose SET DATE & TIME and press Start/Entero
3. PressStaff/Enter when the display shows Date Format,
4, Press 4 I_ to select either Europe (day monthyear)or USA (monthdoyyear) and press
Staff/Enter,
5, PressStaff/Enter when the display shows Date & Time_
6. Set the date and time. You can move the cursor by pressing 4 )
7, PressStaff/Enter when the date and time are correcL
!-A_ 2-PM will display.
8, Press1 or 2,
Turnon and off sounds
You can turn on and off the sounds the HP Fax makes,
Alarm sounds
Alarm sounds include the fax tones and beeps°
1_ PressMenu repeatedly until SET U_ SOU_ appears and press Staff/Entero
2o Press 4 !. to select Alarm Sauna and press Start/Enter.,
3, Select on or off and press Staff/Enter,
